School Director

carol-kellyCarol Kelly has been the Center Director since the opening day in April 2001. She has worked within the child care field since 1988 when she was appointed Director of Child Care Programs for the Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc.

The Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. is the owner/operator of Way To Grow of East Patchogue.

The Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. provides a variety of services to residents of Suffolk County, Long Island, New York by using all available resources. We promote a goal of self-sufficiency by broadening the minds of children, revitalizing communities and assisting families and children in need through coordination of available federal, state, local and private resources.

 

 

Assistant Director

Margaret Launonen has six years of experience working hands on with children in a daycare setting. She has worked as a lead teacher with all ages from infants to preschool. Working with children has always been a passion of hers. Margaret is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology with a concentration in early childhood development. She is eager to work alongside the director and staff to engage families one-on-one.
